Our naturism in France

Our favourite (and nearest to us) naturist beach is located in the National Park of Camargue, in the river Rona delta. It is situated just a few kilometers away from the pictureque town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. The long sandy beach is accesible by car; just park near the wooden bridge at the end of the road through Plage Est and walk for about 1 kilometer towards the sea.

Another naturist beach in Camargue is a famous Plage Piemanson near Salins de Giraud.

Cap d'Agde is our next most-visiting naturist site, together with the Serignan Plage Nature camping nearby. These are paradise places for staying without clothes, with all necessary infrastructure been developed. In Cap d'Agde, just try to avoid adult clubs if you are traveling with kids (and do not avoid if you are not with kids! :)) - and you will for sure love the city!

There are some other nice places for naturism in Southern France. For example, there is a second fully naturist village near Perpignan, a famous Aphrodite Village. Closer to the Spanish border, there is a nice undeveloped naturist beach called Argeles Plage located in the river Tech delta. In Provence, Esparron de Verdon is not only a naturist camping but also a nice mountain beach on Verdon river.

About (in French)

Le naturisme est une maniere de vivre en harmonie avec la nature, caracterisee par une pratique de la nudite en commun qui a pour but de favoriser le respect de soi-meme, le respect des autres et celui de l'environnement.

Interesting Fact

French law does make naturism and nudism technically illegal but modern interpretation of the law which is really aimed at exhibitionism with indecent intent, practically rules out the chances of a successful prosecution resulting against a genuine naturist. With plenty of official resorts and areas available, there seems little point in straying beyond the bounds of accepted French naturism and testing the degree to which this liberal interpretation of French law can be stretched.
