Again, we traveled to Lausanne from Manosque passing through the beautiful French Alps &#8211; though this time we did it in September and not in November. There is no motorway: the heavy traffic started only when we approached Grenoble itself. From Grenoble to Lausanne, it took us about 2 hours to reach the hotel. Unfortunately, the traffic between Geneva and Lausanne was quite busy.<\/p>\n<p>Lausanne was well-known to us: we lived there from 2005 to 2009.
